Department of Microbiology Guntur Medical College, Guntur under the able guidance of Dr. I. Jahnavi , Prof and HOD Microbiology was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories in accordance with standard ISO 15189:2012 after assessing for 1 year “Medical Laboratories – Requirements for quality and competence” in the field of Medical Testing for HIV Testing Laboratory and CD4 Counting Laboratory.
