Notification details of the posts Scientist-B (Non Medical), Lab-Technician & Multi Tasking Staff at State Level VRDL, Department of Microbiology
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts through contract basis in the State level Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (SL VRDL) by DHR-ICMR, under Department of Microbiology, at Guntur Medical College, Guntur-522004, Andhra Pradesh. The filled-in application forms with all the necessary documents should be submitted either by speed post or register post “ To The Principal Investigator, State Level VRDL, Department of Microbiology, Guntur Medical College, Kannavarithota, Guntur-522004, Andhra Pradesh” with a Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalised scheduled bank. Super scribe in Bold letters on the top of the cover as “Application for the SL VRDL contractual post”. The details of the pay, qualification and application form is given below.

Instructions to the applicants:
1. These posts are strictly restricted only to SL VRDL, Guntur Medical College, Guntur.
2. These posts are purely on Contractual basis for a period of F.Y 2025-26, may be extended based
on the tenure of the project and the work performance of the staff recruited as per guidelines issued
by the ICMR Govt of India (Central Scheme).
3. Posts will not be considered as permanent at any point of time.
4. Pension/GPF/PF/Leave benefits will not be applicable as permanent government posts.
5. Appointments can be terminated at any time even before end of contract period without prior
notice due to any reason. In case of such premature termination, one month’s notice or one month
salary in lieu of the same will be provided. Candidate can leave the job prematurely giving one
month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the same. The same are not applicable in case of
premature termination on performance related issue.
6. Strict confidentiality to be maintained with regard to data, information and activities of the SL
VRDL project. Any violation attracts disciplinary / legal action.
7. After scrutinizing the applications received from the candidates, eligible candidates will be called
for interview. The date of interview will be notified to the individual by E Mail or Whatsapp.
8. No TA, DA accommodation will be provided either for appearing written exam or interview or
for joining the assignment.
9. Age limit of the candidates: less than 35 years to the day of notification released.
